Product Update: Panoskin Virtual Tours Receive 100% Accessibility Score

Written by LCP360 | Sep 15, 2020 1:00:00 PM

We’re pleased to share that Panoskin virtual tours from LCP360 consistently receive a 98-100% accessibility score from Google Lighthouse. Google Lighthouse is an open-source, automated tool for improving the quality of web pages and web applications. This tool audits for performance, accessibility, progressive web apps, SEO and more.

In comparison, other virtual tour providers on the market often receive a 50% accessibility score from Lighthouse.

Additionally, the Panoskin software meets all WCAG guidelines.

Our team has worked hard to ensure that Panoskin is an accessible tool that meets digital accessibility guidelines so that anyone can take a virtual tour.

Each virtual tour is equipped with an accessibility toggle, allowing visitors to tab into the accessibility feature. When accessibility is toggled on, the tool informs the user with a voice that says “Accessibility On.”

Panoskin is compatible with screen reading tools and keyboard navigation. We recommend ChromeVox for testing out the screen reading functionality.

Accessibility has and always will be important. Whether it’s in everyday life or on our smartphones or tablets, accessibility means giving everyone freedom and access to the same tools and resources.

At LCP360, we understand how important digital accessibility truly is. Every single person at some point in their lives will explore real estate, whether that’s buying a house, renting an apartment, leasing an office space, or even renting out a venue for a party.

Panoskin tours from LCP360 ensure that people with disabilities or impairments can also take virtual tours online.
